It’s Winery Wednesday
Today’s winery brings us to the charming Napa Valley city of Rutherford.
St. Supery Estate Vineyards & Winery
I loved going to St. Supery, it’s newly renovated tasting room is bright and hip. You know you are not at tasting room just like the one you just left 10 minutes ago. It has a young feel to it, from the moment you walk in the door. A beautiful piece of bright orange art greets you at the entrance.
As you stroll up to the tasting counter you have already been greeted by several of the staff who are friendly and welcoming. They are excited to share their love of wines with you.
They also have gift items that I could not resist buying, like this jam.
One of my favorite places in the tasting room was the back room area. It was a little more private and displayed bottles and bottles of their delicious wine. I love that all their wines are estate grown, produced and bottled on site at this family winery.
One of my favorite photos I photographed is this black and white I took of the back wine tasting room.
Their outdoor seating at the entrance to their tasting room made me feel like I was sitting in a French cafe.
I love this wall of greenery. It totally transports you to another place in time. The colors were changing on the leaves…it is stunning.

Is it Wednesday already? Do you know how much I enjoy these posts? 😉
Thank you, Carol!
Oh, that pyramid display of jam looks very tempting.
So tempting, I could not pass it without buying one!
Oh, I was hoping you’d do St. Suprey. One of our dearest friends was married there, years ago. It was a wonderful day, and it made me love their wine even more. Thanks for featuring it.
I really loved it there! What a great venue for a wedding.
Next time I’m in Napa I’m going to visit this beautiful place!
Have a great time!
I think I need to start a weekly ritual with my husband in which we take a time out to enjoy whatever type of wine you’re sharing here. Or at least something similar. Love these glimpses into wine adventures I’ve never experienced. Thank you.
That is a great idea, Lisa.
oh my, another great one to add to my list! When you go there do you usually purchase a case? Bottle? Are tastings free?
At the very least, Handsome and I buy a few bottles from each winery. In Napa Valley, there is a charge for tastings, anywhere from $10.00 -for 3 to 5 tastings -to- $50.00 for private one on one tastings. Most tasting fees are waived when you purchase wine.
I so look forward to your Wednesday wineries! Love those jars of jam and that cool orange sculpture!
Thanks, Lois!
I really look forward to strolling through these wineries with you!
This one is very different. How many wineries are there in California?
Doreen, I’m not sure in all of California, but I know there are about 400 wineries with tasting rooms in Napa Valley alone.
What a fun and beautiful place! I’d love to go!
You would really enjoy it at St. Supery!
