Apple Crisp

Ingredients
  • 5 cups of cubed apples
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 6 ramekin dishes
  • baking spray
  • powered sugar, optional
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Mix the apples with nutmeg and white sugar. and lemon juice
  3. Place apple mixture evenly into sprayed ramekins.
  4. For topping-In a separate bowl combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter.
  5. Sprinkle topping over apple mixture, gently press on to apples.
  6. Place ramekins on a baking sheet and place baking sheet in to the oven.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until apples are tender.
  8. Remove from oven and let cook prior to adding powdered sugar on top.
